We have just published the new dates for our Berlin Queer Evenings and thoughts this would be a good occasion to share some thoughts about this special evening.

“Queer Loving Spirits” is a term that refers to the idea that love, affection and intimacy exist beyond the boundaries of heteronormative relationships. It recognises the validity and beauty of all forms of love and intimacy, regardless of gender, sexuality or societal norms.

The concept of Queer Loving Spirit evenings celebrates the diversity of human relationships characterised by respect and openness, and recognises that love between two or more people is not defined by their gender or sexual orientation. It encourages us to break free from rigid societal expectations and embrace love in all its forms, even when it does not fit into traditional categories. The idea of Queer Loving Spirits can be found in many areas of life, from love between men or two women to non-binary people who reject gender segregation altogether. It is also reflected in relationships between friends and chosen families, where love and support are given without the constraints of romantic or sexual expectations.

In a world where there is still much discrimination and prejudice against LGBTQ+ people, the idea of Queer Loving Spirits is a powerful force for acceptance and inclusion. It recognises that love is universal and can transcend all boundaries and that everyone deserves to love and be loved. Queer Loving Spirits celebrates love in all its forms, recognises that love knows no boundaries and embraces diversity and inclusion. It is a reminder that love, affection and intimacy is a powerful force that can bring people together, no matter who they are or where they come from.

We are Gay Love Spirit. Also, at Queer Loving Spirits evenings, gay men are usually the majority. If you are from a different corner of queer cosmos and you don’t want to feel so different or lonely, you are welcome to bring a friend!
