Noam is a long time GayLoveSpirit friend and collaborator originally from Israel and today, he is starting a journey around Spain, France and Portugal, sitting on the streets and knitting over a barbed wire.

In his own words:

As some of you know, I will start my knitting journey soon. On this journey I am basically planning to sit on the street and knit on a barbed wire, (and if you don’t know yet, you welcome to read about the project and me here)

As I choose that this project will not be under any artistic establishment umbrella, it depends on people who will host me on my way. I’m looking for people who can offer me a place to sleep for 1-3 nights maximum. On day times I would like to sit outside for a few hours and knit. All other plans depend on the meeting between me and the host – availability of time and our chemistry. As this project is about meetings, I am here to meet. My route is more or less planned, but it will depend on hosts who will offer me a place to stay for a few nights, and according to that I will plan my exact schedule.

I will start on 7.5.24 in the city of Portbou, Spain. And from there I’ll plan to head west to San Sabastian and along the coast until I reach Portugal. This is my general planned route, but I’ll be happy to stop and stay for a while at any place nearby. I am trying to make all this journey by public transportation, mostly trains.

In the next 2-3 weeks I’ll passing through these cities: Perpignan, Carcassonne, Toulouse, Pau, Donosti (San Sebastian), Bilbao, Santander, Gijon, Santiago de Compostela – and from there, to Portugal.

If by any chance you know somebody that may have a place to stay on this route, and who could be interested in this project and would enjoy to host and meet me – please share this message with them, or send them my email address directly: noamfelden@gmail.com. Thank you.

You can follow his pilgrimage on his blog or Instagram and make sure to get in touch with him via the email address above in case you or someone you know might be able to host him on the way. That would be very much appreciated.
